I would recommend the duck and the white chocolate and kiwi mousse. Not so keen on the terre and mer but still very nice. The chef and waiter are both very friendly. On our second visit we were given complimentary kir royale as well as breads and spreads, which was lovely.

Therefore I booked ahead for Le Passe Compose based on good TripAdvisor reviews. However when we got there they told us they had not accepted our booking - the weather was too hot (heatwave lucifer) and they could not keep the inside of the small restaurant cool enough for comfort. Unfortunately I'd missed the email update so was very disappointed. As it was so hot we did want to search out somewhere else, so they set us up a table with a fan and we were able to dine there after all. The food was worth the perseverance, I had beautifully cooked monkfish with a chanterelle risotto and there was a thumbs up for all the other mains. Very good and reasonably priced local wine also went down well. We all enjoyed the evening and understood the the restaurant was just trying to cope with some extreme weather conditions.
