What is extraordinary in some reviews is criticism of the quantities in the dishes: the prices are ridiculously reasonable. Lunch is a light lunch but more than sufficient and is refined and creative. This doesn’t pretend to be a Michelin stared joint! The setting is fabulous, the service excellent. Get real: value price unbeatable. Bring your own salt!
Just stopped by at Faune, new restaurant in Montpellier. Fantastic setting, speedy service and great ideas on the menu for a light meal. Hand cut tartar, light tuna, Veal capacious, clams all the best. Loved the desert...I am very weak when I see orange blossom... such a southern flavor : overall great ingredients. I am surprised though by the work on the core dishes as set by chef Sydney Verdon: lack of salt on several dishes (saw several people asking , chimichuri is not a garlic and pesto sauce.... (it’s flat parsley, oregano, chili, olive oil, a touch of tomato, vinegar and garlic . I will try Sydney’s Peruvian, I am sure to be more impressed. And by the way fantastic place for after work
Restaurant close to the train station, the dishes are delicious and the menu is very minimalistic with quality products. The atmosphere is very cozy. The staff is a little overwhelmed but very friendly
Very nice frame. Good brunch. But unwarm service, including a detestabke waitress, which takes you up. Even experience one night.
