For a special birthday, my partner and I enjoyed seven course taster menu at Ebullition, along with the wine pairings. The restaurant itself is delightful. Modest and unassuming from the outside, very intimate and comfortable within. Not a huge dining room, just six or seven tables, so everyone got due attention from the staff. The food was some of the best I've ever had, so creative and surprising throughout. Each dish was a delight. Generously portioned too; there were several extra amuse-bouches and a refilling bread basket throughout the meal. Our waiter that evening was very friendly and attentive; the sommelier was knowledgable as you'd expect, but down to earth and friendly with it. One of the restaurant owners, Coralie, was present throughout the evening and discussed the plates with us, and towards the end of the meal, the head chef and co-owner, Boris, came and wished us a good evening too, which was a lovely touch. Overall, our dining experience lasted four hours ! so we were in no way rushed to finish in order to release the table. It was a wonderful night, I wholeheartedly recommend Ebullition for a special occasion in this beautiful city.
Absolutely spot on. All the reviews are correct in all respects . A dinner that will be talked about for some time to come. The Ebullition has set the bar very high indeed from the warm welcome and service to the magnificent food , the chef has restored my faith in French cooking ! I will try and come again if anywhere near that is if they can fit us in !
