Chez Toto - Montpellier

Toto is one of the best restaurants in montpellier and serves excellent seafood. in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the service remains attentive and efficient. the menu of muriel and patrick offers a great selection of excellent seafood with traditional and innovative options, On...the raw side is the garnelentare and fresh bouzigues oysters, while they can also taste the delicious baked oysters that are my favorites. the most important courses depend on the regular daily collections, but they also find delicious traditional dishes from the region. I recommend visiting toto while visiting montpellier.

We had high hopes as the menu looked interesting and the ambiente was well ordered and served drinks. starter came and only half of what we ordered, we imagined the rest would follow, but no. and nobody bothered to check. we were happy or had everything we ordered. then had to wait an eternity for main courses, but unfortunately it was not worth waiting and you never made it to our table. we complained at the end and got another drink, but we came open for eating and would rather have what we ordered and in time. it was a rather frustrating experience!

We love toto! we want them back some time and we recommend this place for all that is in montpellier. we had such a good time!

This opposite of montpellier is not far from the hectic of the market on rue de la loge, but it is quiet with many attractive small restaurants. we have chosen chez toto and I am glad that we have done it because the server charlie

We went there on a Thursday night. It was a rainy day therefore the restaurant had no tables outside. Inside these is room for 12 people without claustrofobia. Chez Toto has a menu in French and English and is specialized in very fresh seafood. We...had a self chosen seafood platter including escargot's de mer pointu's). Afterwards the waiter was interested whether we desired a hot main course or not. He managed the restaurant all by himself, 1 person doing all the labourous work of making seafood platters. We have never seen this before. The oysters as well as the tourteau were very very fresh and very well prepared. No chips of shell in the oyster at all. Afterwards we had spaghetti and mussels. This restaurant borrows /gets his beers, coffees and desserts from neighbouring restaurants. Very interesten how this works in busy summer times ! However it was very inspiring to see how the waiter was doing his very utmost (from his natural spirit) to please the guests with all the knowledge he has on the products he serves.
