I my opinion because they serve high quality at fair pricing in at casual atmosphere.

La Cantine had a table for us and it didn't disa... read more We arrived into Montlucon on a Friday night and tried a couple of restaurants but found they were fully booked. La Cantine had a table for us and it didn't disappoint. It was some of the best food we'd had in France for 10 days. The service was very friendly and efficient and to top it off they had great music as well. Don't miss going here if you are ever in Montlucon!

I... read more Well hidden in a side alley but you can trust the location of the TripAdvisor map, it's correct. Unless the opening hours, they aren't correct on TripAdvisor. It's open from Tuesday to Friday noon and evening and Saturday noon. When you've found it and go inside it looks very inviting but make sure to come early. I had to work late today and arrived at 21:15. The kitchen was already closed. Too sad. Maybe I can make it on my next trip to Montluçon.
