Ma Place Bbq - Monticello

I had never tried the food here. After reading all of the outstanding reviews on-line, it was just a must check it out asap. I went today April 1st and ordered the ribs, potatoe salad and baked beans. They make their own sauces and the sweet one was really good. The rib meat fell right off the bone. Everything was delicious!!! The people working were all so welcoming and super friendly, and even the customers coming and going were very friendly. I will definitely be back! Oh and the name has changed to Red Barn Wings and More.

This bbq is everything! There's a reason he sells out just about everyday. There's hasn't been anything that I don't like. He's a very nice person too and takes the time to talk to everyone that comes into his restaurant. I can't wait for them to be open more, it's totally worth the wait though.

The owner is people friendly! True southern hospitality restaurant. The gizzards are the best I have eaten. I'm a truck driver traveled thru 48 states and live in two countries and can not name anyone gizzards better than Red Barn Wings More. I had the Ribs and Chicken plate with baked beans and slaw, magnificent!

In my honest opinion, best barbecue in the area. The building might not seem like much, but trust me, you'll be more than pleased with the prices, quality and quantity of the food, and friendliness of the staff. It's so good I'm willing to write a review about it; so that's worth something, right?
