Jimmy O's - Monticello

We always get our pizza from Jimmy O’s, and it's consistently delicious. For the past couple of years, my roommate has been raving about their Monday night classic hamburger special. So, we decided to give it a try, especially since a burger and fries for $5.00 sounded like a fantastic deal. I placed the order over the phone, and they confirmed the Monday special. However, when the total came to $29.70, I was shocked. We opted for sweet potato fries instead of regular ones, which added an extra 50 cents per order. But to my surprise, they also charged an additional $4.50 for each burger. This feels quite sneaky and isn't a great way to run a business. It's hard to believe!

I really wish I had taken a picture of my meal! Wow! The breaded mushrooms were massive, and the pork tenderloin was even bigger than my plate! The service was excellent, too—what a dedicated team!

Have had many good experiences at Jimmy O 's but last evening was a disaster. A group of us went there to celebrate a birthday. One person 's meal (a salad! Didn 't come out until everyone else was almost done eating. The waitress apologized and said she was told the salad wouldn 't be charged for. Everyone agreed that was fair and reasonable. Then someone from the back came and informed us the salad would NOT be free because the manager said no. Sad to say but Jimmy O 's probably lost the business of 10 people who eat out in Monticello quite a bit (every weekend . Why do businesses put $10.99 over the repeat business of a table full of customers?! I 'll never understand it.

I absolutely adore the prime rib, and the staff is fantastic!

I absolutely love the pizza here! We usually call ahead for a quick pickup on the weekends since it tends to get really busy. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered the breaded mushrooms – wow, they were amazing! It's unfortunate that the portion is so large because I'm the only one who enjoys them. The onion rings also come in a massive portion. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here.
