Lakeside Supper Club - Montgomery

Over priced, small prime rib and it was stringy, steak had no flavor, the salad bar was fantastic and great ambiance. The gratuity was ridiculous for not the most fabulous service.

Sadly had high hopes for this place, what a let down. It 's like they 're giving up or something. I ordered the filet and was not impressed. Way over-priced for what you receive. The water is straight-up well water, and it 's terribly rusty tasting. Theyproceeded to make fun of us for not liking it. Calling folks who don 't like well water city slickers and the like. Maybe theydidn 't want us back? Who knows. It was all around a very strange experience. We wont ever go back.

George runs an outstanding restaurant. I've been going to the Lakeside for over 13 years and the food always exceptional. Tonight I had one of the ever changing specials that really keep the menu fresh. I had broiled salmon that was nicely finishedwith light but flavorful spice. I chose the naturally sweet table beets as a side. They always offer a cooked vegetable as achoice instead of the 4 delightful ways they do potatoes. In addition, most entrees come with a trip to the fresh salad. Most ofthe items are grown close by on land George owns. Go to this treasure between Montgomery and New Prague. You won't bedisappointed.

A recent visit to Lakeside Super Club did not disappoint The service was attentive, the salad bar, while small, was very fresh.
