We had a lovely meal at the Refuge. The staff were delightful and helped to find gluten free options on the menu. The tartiflette was delicious as was the beef stew with a hint of cinnamon. The only downside was a slightly undercooked chocolate fondant but it still tasted delicious. We would eat here again without hesitation. View all feedback.

I never complain but I really wish I’d looked at trip advisor before setting foot inside. We were 6 people, 5 ordered large lunches but I didn’t want anything other than a vin chaud and a coffee. My friends ordered over €130 of food and drinks, but it appeared that me not ordering any food was a big problem for them. We had an amazing 6-course meal at the Refuse for New Year Eve! The food was interesting, unusual and plentiful! The choice of wine was also excellent. The service was super friendly too. The place is very popular so best to book ahead.
Great tartiflette. We were in Montgenevre for a week of skiing and found this restaurant on the third night. Friendly staff and a very good meal. Went back on the last night for more.
Complete disaster! Food was very average and fondue was completely screwed...... we sent it back 3 times and got worse and worse...... at the end, they start cleaning up tables with bleach ..... asking whether we wanted a desert......
This is a really nice restaurant with friendly staff who are local and the food was excellent and not too expensive. Well worth a trip.

I got served a huge bowl of burned chips…There was a lot of slamming down of food by the grumpy waitress. I really don’t understand what her problem was. DON’T SET FOOD INSIDE HERE FOLKS! Food mediocre and the waitress’s attitude was very unpleasant..
