El Tio Restaurant - Monterrey

Esta fue una comida de negocios, así que probablemente no hubiera encontrado el lugar por mi cuenta. No era muy grande, pero todo estaba tan bien organizado, desde el servicio hasta la disposición de las mesas. Uno de esos lugares en los que el servicio no es intrusivo pero siempre está en su punto. La comida era increíble, no en grandes cantidades, pero de calidad. Las vistas desde ambos lados de la sala principal eran impresionantes, y mostraban en realidad dos pueblos, uno de los lados con una gran terraza.

La única cosa un poco negativa es que está algo escondido detrás de un McDonald's.

Excelente gastronomía, muy bien pensada. Sabores nítidos y precisos. Servicio impecable. Un lugar agradable para ir.

Traditional restaurant in Monterrey with excellent steaks and the best "queso falmeado" (grilled cheese with chorizo) I've ever eaten! Waiters are nice and their steaks are always delicious as well as their entrées. Desserts are very good with only a few cakes and ice creams, but the tiramisu is gorgeous! Open daily from noon till midnight. No valet parking and the parking lot is rather unconfortable (some times is packed, since there are other restaurants nearby). Highly recommended for families and bussiness.

Third time at this restaurant and it seems to be slipping. The restaurant was devoid of its usual lunch crowd; it would have been great for a quiet business lunch. This place needs a bit of a touch up.We ordered the tongue and the Ribeye. Both good. The service was very good.
