Ambarino Tapas y Vinos - Montería

It's hard to find international food in Colombia, and considering that we were in Monteria, my expectations were not awfully high. However, this restaurant could be much better for the price and quality of food. The prices are quite high, and they are with what you would pay in much better Spanish restaurants in Bogota. The quality of food left much to wish, and sometimes it seemed like some of the fried products on our mixed tapas plate, just came out of the freezer. The tomato sauce used on the Albondigas was too sweet, and tasted as it was made with this terrible Colombian ketchup. I understand that Spanish food is a novelty in this part of the world, but if they calculate such high prices, then I expect to deliver the food. Unfortunately not. In addition to the moderate food, the service was very unfriendly. There were two servers, a big guy and a thin guy. The thin was actually quite personal, but unfortunately he didn't wait on our table. The bigger waiter was quite uncomfortable and had a frit on his face all the time. Please and thanks have just been answered with a disgust and apathy. Honestly, I don't think he even told us a word when we were there. Those who manage this restaurant should talk to their waiters about the importance of hospitality. Unfriendly service and mediocre food do not exactly for return customers.

Pasajae del sol, Excelentes vinos, rica sangria, deliciosas tapas. Buen ambiente y muy bonita decoración.

Excelente servicio y comida exquisita, la decoración del restaurante es hermosa y todo el personal es muy amable.

Regular me fue porq soy gay y como el administrador es Gay y me tiene rabia me atendieron mal como yo a el conosco,al pareciera no queria que yo estubiera en el restaurante,por favor ser gerente mejorar eso

Vamos con mucha frecuencia a Ambarino, la comida es deliciosa, los vinos súper exclusivos y la atención muy buena. Es un lugar para repetir
