I had the margarita pizza and was so pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I was alone but the staff was so polite and the ambience was very nice for a pizza restaurant yet not too over the top to make a solo traveler feel out of place. Loved it.

We visited here in June 2023 when... read more Quite late in writing this review but finally got around to it and had to write this review as we had a wonderful experience. We visited here in June 2023 when we were driving the Pacific Coast Highway from San Fran to San Diego and since PCH was closed after a certain point (due to Winter/Spring storms impacting roads in CA), we had to drive back to Monterey. We got to Monterey pretty late (around 10 pm) and the only decent place open with a decent choice of vegetarian food was MidiCi Food

It is kid friendly and a family run/owned place. The staff are amazingly hospitable and responsive and kind. The restrooms and the whole restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The food is just--DELICIOSO! We never miss Medici whenever we are in Monterey! Work up an appetite before you go and keep some space for dessert! Yum!
