It's important to note that the green V symbol indicates vegetarian items, so be sure to look for the blue V for vegan choices. Customers can choose their own table and then either order using their phone or at the counter. While I'm not sure if this process has changed due to COVID-19, I personally am not a fan of ordering on my phone. The prices for the pizza were quite high - $20 for a personal size vegan pizza. I tried the red marinara pizza with vegan cheese and vegan sausage. Unfortunately, they went heavy on the vegan cheese, making it gummy and clump together when picking up a slice. The vegan sausage, however, was flavorful and enjoyable, although the portion size seemed lacking. The red sauce was the highlight of the pizza and I would consider ordering it on its own if I returned. Overall, the food was hit or miss, but the ambiance and location make it a popular spot for both locals and tourists in Monterey.
