What Charlie (Johnny) doesn't like about Xinjiang Bbq:
If you love fat beef, you will love it here. Too greasy in my opinion.Staff are nice, just take a long time for them serving the food. They have karaoke inside, it's a weird and new experience there. Not in a bad way tho. View all feedback.
I like the ability to order to go via phone here. The hours were great too when I was working late. Eating in though is nicer as they offer more spices than take out. Pricing can seem higher than other places but their cuts of meat are bigger than the cheaper places. Ordering inside is done by tablet and check out is in front.

The skewers themselves were pretty good compared to other skewer places I've been to. One thing that really stood out was the Triple Delight which I didn't get a picture of. It had potatoes, eggplant and some other vegetable? It was quite dark in there so I couldn't see.... But it was really really good!
I've dine-in and ordered take out. Both were great experiences. Since it's open to 2am, this is a great late night spot to take friends for drinks and skewers. I love their beef skewers! The ambience here is pretty cool and they have artsy projections to the walls. Each table have it's own tv that plays the karaoke music video of the songs that are playing if you want to sing along. Each table is given a large wooden plate, utensils, spice condiments, and a discard skewer holder. You order from the QR code provided on each table. You add your order there and you can add more at anytime. The food comes like 5-10 mins later and they will place the skewers on the large wooden plate. When its time to pay, you tap check out and pay at the cashier at the front. This is located inside the Garfield Gardens plaza at the end. There's street parking and parking in the plaza. Their staff speaks Mandarin and English. Overall, cool spot!
We absolutely love this late night gem for skewers. Over the past year, we've seen their space change so much, accommodating pandemic guidelines and setting up for only outdoor seating, then moving indoors with some initial interior changes and now with full blown panoramic screens across every wall and small screens at each table with karaoke songs, music videos, and lyrics. The updates and improvements surprised us each time, but wow, kudos to them for making that continued effort to carry out their vision of the space. Despite the space and design changes, what hasn't changed is the quality of their food. We come for the food and stay for the vibes, lol. (We usually come with a group of people. The skewers are phenomenal. The beef skewers are our favorite consistently tender and flavorful, not at all dry. Other favorites include lamb skewers, scallop with vermicelli, eggplant, steamed buns, and Taiwanese sausage. We usually get quite an assortment and end up adding more beef skewers every time. It's really that good. The meats are so well seasoned and well cooked. The menu is completely digitized and you place the order directly from your phone. So efficient! The servers are friendly and usually attentive to your water refill or tray removal needs. I would love to see a more eco friendly way of serving their foods (without using styrofoam trays , and I could already see a little bit of improvement here and there, but it's okay. Like I said, the food is seriously that great.
Very good food, good prices, good fast service, and very nice atmosphere. Can accommodate small AND very large parties. 10/10 Very underrated spot.
