Trattoria Da Nicola - MONTEGROTTO TERME

Bellissimo ristorante situato in un luogo rustico ristrutturato. Ho pranzato per lavoro con un'offerta fissa di 4 primi, 4 secondi e 3 contorni (tutti eccellenti). Il servizio è stato gentile e amichevole. I prezzi sono stati onesti per l'offerta proposta.

Siamo arrivati a pranzo la domenica, dopo le 13 quando avevamo prenotato. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare che il tavolo riservato fosse pronto. Purtroppo, a causa delle alte temperature, abbiamo deciso di pranzare dentro perché sarebbe stato impossibile stare sotto la tenda sotto il sole cocente. Mentre aspettavamo, ci è stato offerto un buon bicchiere di prosecco fresco. Il luogo è rustico e piacevole. Il servizio ha avuto alcuni difetti (una persona non era preparata sui piatti del menu... e per ordinare abbiamo dovuto rivolgerci ad un altro cameriere anziché al nostro, nonostante ci avesse portato il menu e descritto le specialità del giorno). Abbiamo ordinato principalmente piatti di pesce, sia crudi (ottimi e freschi dagli antipasti al secondo) che cucinati, molto soddisfacenti. I vini erano locali e di ottima qualità. Purtroppo, c'erano alcune lacune nei dolci: dopo aver elencato alcune opzioni, ci è stato detto che erano esauriti. Il cuoco ha trovato rapidamente una soluzione per il dessert principale, anche se non era gradita al festeggiato. Il prezzo era competitivo. Ho dato un voto di 4 stelle, forse un po' generoso, ma meritato soprattutto per la bontà della cucina! Vorrei tornare presto per assaggiare gli altri piatti del menu e, su richiesta delle donne al tavolo, anche per i dolci!

A restaurant recommendation from a local in this area is usually reliable. We drove by the canal towpath further away from the residential area and came to the restaurant. We were there for lunch and as we drove into the car park on a Wednesday we were amazed by the numbers of cars in the car park, all italian. Inside we found a large sympathetically restored barn with two levels of seating area. There were a lot of waiting staff and we were read a long list of primo and then secondo options to choose from. This was clearly a very popular set lunch option for locals. The food was authentic italian and absolutely delicious. I had a wonderful radicchio lasagne, light pasta and bechamel sauce, unlike the stodge made for the UK market. My secondo was a scallopine in marsala sauce, also delicious and there was a good variety of contorni available in addition to the polenta which accompanied my meal. We had wine, a dolci and coffee and were completely amazed by the low price when we went downstairs to pay. If you can get here by car do not miss such a great experience of quality cooking at an exceptional price, we will be returning on our next visit.

We had no idea when driving along a quiet tow path, that it would lead us to a truly great local trattoria, buzzing with life and full of people on a quiet Wednesday lunchtime. In what was obviously once an enormous barn, it has an open upper floor where we sat and enjoyed the great value menu fisso. €13) There was in fact no menu, so we had to listen attentively to what was on offer. The radicchio lasagna was sublime, and the Guinea fowl pasta was impressive too. I then chose scaloppini in Marsala sauce and we had fresh strawberries for dessert. The house wine was also good. Fabulous!

Su internet è scritto che il Menù del giorno costa solo 13 euro, ma ho finito per pagare 15 euro. Forse è necessario aggiornare le informazioni, ma posso dire che il posto merita ogni centesimo. È un locale bellissimo, il cibo è ottimo e il personale è molto professionale. È un posto dove vale sempre la pena andare.
