This was where we lunched today. A spectacular meal. Meat and cheese tray to start. Krista had an awesome Greek Salad and I had meat Ravioli with wild mushrooms and smoked cheese. Topped with a litre of the regional red wine. The chef came out and treated us to his own liquid frozen chocolate. Dark chocolate mixed with some type of liquor so it wasn't solid. Outstanding!!! We picked this restaurant because it was the only decent place opened on a Monday evening. We were welcomed by the owner that helped us to pick the right set of fish meals. The quality and quantity of food was excellent, a good surprise in a restaurant looking more like a pizzeria. The prices are also very good for the quality offered. Only little detail we did not like: one meal was served on a sheet of paper (probably to absorb the excess cookig oil? that was later disintegrating in the plate and had to be taken off.
This was our favourite restaurant while staying at Palazzo Viviani. We came here 3 times in 7 days. You can have a posh 4 course meal with good wine or very good pizza and decent house wine. Everything we ate was tasty. Very friendly service with some English spoken. Also very much appreciated the free Limoncello at the end of the meal. Highly recommended.
While staying nearby in a holiday home, we were advised by the owners to have dinner at Al Mulino Bianco. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and enjoyed a great night with good, local food and wine. The pizza's were very good and also the risotto and beef with green peppers was excellent. Together with the friendly ladies who served us, made it a night to remember. Needless to say, we went back a couple of days later.....
