Chabad Kosher Hot Spot - Montego Bay

This little restaurant was the best discovery in our visit in the bay of montego. we have eaten every day in the city too. the falafel and hummus were simply brilliant! friendly staff.

Chabad kosher hot spot is a decent option for vegan friendly fast food. it is essentially falafel and hummus with add-ons such as hand-cut fries, pita sandwich style or as salat plate. the location is not vegan as they offer tuna/fish, but the vegan options are delicious. the server are fast and they have good smoothies. overall a good vegan almost food option, without meaty rugged.

Today, I visited Chabad and indulged in their delicious falafel pita with fries. The food took about 15 minutes to prepare, but it was well worth the wait. The fries were amazing and the falafel pita was the best I have ever had. The falafel was perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. Just a heads up – the pita contains olives, which I love, so if you're not a fan, be sure to ask for it without them. The jerk sauce had a great blend of spices, and the fries were fried to perfection. I had plenty of bread left over to scoop up the falafel, which was a nice touch. If you wait too long to eat the pita (I took mine to go), it might get a bit soggy from the hummus, jerk sauce, and salad. However, if you eat it right away, I'm sure it will be perfect. I noticed the chef cleaning up after himself and wearing gloves while preparing the food, which was reassuring. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 out of 5 stars is because I ordered a green juice that turned out to be a smoothie. It wasn't what I expected, so I left it behind. Other than that, I would highly recommend Chabad and will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
