Exceptional Diplomat, excellent cappuccino, and breathtaking view. Very kind and friendly staff!
This pastry shop deserves a 6, with several products, each one better than the last. We stayed three days in Tuscia and always had breakfast there, changing it each time. What can I say? Simply amazing.
We were recommended this place by a local to order our wedding cake. They don’t speak much English and our Italian was basic. But we tried. We ordered a cake for 20 people. We had a slight hiccup when we arrived to collect the cake the night prior to the wedding and the cafe was closed *panic stations* but we had learnt the Italian way to be far more laid back so tried again the next day. We then learnt that within the translation there had been confusion and the cake still wasn’t ready, but would be ready by midday (we married at 2pm) luckily a family member was able to collect the cake whilst we got ready. The reason for the 5 star is because everyone loved the cake! It went down a treat with not a scrap left. They had decorated it beautifully.
Great bar for breakfast, if you arrive early there is a great choice and everything is always very fresh.
This cafe, near the old hospital and the Church of St. Francis, on the Via Verentana, is the best in Montefiascone. The cappuccino is delicious and the pastries are to die for, and they also sell it to take away. The Plum Tart Torta di Prugne is especially good. This place is calorie heaven. Don't go on a Thursday, though, since they are closed that day. They are open on Sundays.
