Fra Sacrantino - MONTEFALCO

Nice place on the main square of Montefalco. There are all sorts of classic italian menu items. The service was good, in that our waitress wasn't offended when we wanted to share a pizza as our starter. There is a good local wine selection, including a dessert variety.

We went to the bar section, rather than the restaurant. We have had drinks there on earlier occasions and it was quite ok with decent service. Today was different. The waitress who served us was basically hostile. We ordered drinks and a tasting platter of cheeses. Half the cheeses we were served were not just past their sell by date, they were on the point of rotting. When we complained the staff waitress and another who seemed to be management) made out that there was nothing wrong and told us that Pecorino is like that. Well I have eaten many varieties of Pecorino and none of them previously tasted like vomit. I will certainly never eat at this establishment again. Montefalco has plenty of better options :

The Hamburger Amatriciana was delicious. The view on a lazy Tuesday afternoon was calming and enjoyable.

Beautiful the local on different levels and divided into rooms, kind and efficient staff, excellent food,divine the rocky(typical sweet of the place), unique neo the coffee

The room is very cozy and well furnished, the staff is properly informal . the dishes are definitely in the average of our expectations, where we dined in November . price ratio I would say a little bit 'discarded in the quantities, but all satisfied
