I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed. It exceeded all my expectations and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience.
What an atmosphere for the price! The two restaurants at San Ysidro Ranch, Stonehouse Inn and Plow, offer an incredible dining experience.
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Manny provided excellent service at the bar, with his friendly and welcoming demeanor. He was also very efficient in taking care of us.
The new speakeasy was fantastic! The live music was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was lively and fun!
The restaurant is overpriced and quite underwhelming. The server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink after recommending it. I ordered the “peach and avocado salad” for $27, but it was mostly just lettuce and tomatoes with a tiny bit of peach and lacked any flavor. I also tried the lime-seared tofu with coconut rice. While the tofu had a nice texture, it was drenched in a sweet sauce that lacked depth. My husband ordered the ribs, and he mentioned that although the meat was well-cooked, it too was smothered in a sauce that didn’t penetrate the meat. Considering the prices, I would rate this place 2 stars, but since the busser was attentive, I’ll give it a 3.
