Relais Dei Principi - Montecastrilli

I have reviewed this before but it just gets better and better. I went with my daughter and two grandchildren and had the most wonderful time. The pool and new outside seating area is magnificent and will be the perfect place for weddings a romantic little bridge just asking for photographs! The children took photographs to show their friends in England and I think my daughter had posted it on Facebook even before we left. We finally sat down to eat on the terrace sharing our meals so as not to miss the delights of the excellent food. I will be back with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary very soon.

We first visited this restaurant in November 2015 for a 50th wedding anniversary of friends. We planned to return on our next visit and therefore went on 15 February 2016. It was superb excellent food, good house wine, very friendly staff. It would be impossible to identify any one dish as all were just wonderful. Will be be back again to see the fabulous view of the mountains in sunshine. Thanks to everyone for our lovely day.

From the time we entered the restaurant it certainly had that charm, friendly atmosphere. A fantastic traditional Italian restaurant. Luigi the owner speaks a bit of English. Price of food is excellent with a pizza costing €6.00. Very beautiful setting which you will not be disappointed with and the food, service is excellent. I have been there every year for 8 years and not had one bad meal.

The four of us left Rome and headed to Umbria. We found this delightful restaurant happily by happenstance. It was filled with families enjoying each other. Someone found us a table and we joined in the fun. The ragu is superb as we're all the pastas and meat dishes. Loved the veggies.
