The food isn't fancy, but its freshly made and delicious. Good choice for veggies as well as meat eaters. Montecarlo is a lovely village in the hills outside of Lucca and definitely recommend

Because it is also very popular for the locals.They serve fantastic Italian food. The father is in control, and his daughter and son waits on you. And if you like the wine (we did , then you can buy a bottle or a box for a reasonable price. One of the best restaurants in Montecarlo (we tried them all! . But try it for yourself. Just remember to book in advance.
