Popeyes serves one of my favorite chicken sandwiches, especially when paired with cajun fries and a strawberry lemonade. The only thing I wish they would add is lettuce and tomato to the sandwich. However, I suppose their signature toppings are pickles and sauce.

I tried their chicken nuggets, and they were delicious and offered at a special price! Since it's their 50th anniversary, they're featuring various specials throughout the year.

I stopped by to try their new chicken sandwich, and I have to admit, the wait was quite long since it seemed like everyone else had the same idea. I ended up waiting around 20 minutes, but it was worth it! The sandwich was incredible—way better than Chick-fil-A. The chicken was both crispy and juicy. I'm hopeful that once the excitement around the sandwich settles down, it will be easier to pop into Popeyes and grab one without facing such long lines.
