Staying in Requista I used Tripadvisor for suggestions for restaurants.We went to l'Estancar on the top of the hill in Montclar. We were welcomed by a very charming young lady who sat us on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views. We were the first, but the place quickly filled up. The food was really delicious, rightly accompanied by the proposed chilled Loire wine. During dinner the husband-chef came by to check on his guests. A professionally run place with lots of charm.
Although it was the end of their season we went to this beautiful Aveyronian village with friends who lived near-by. they owners had produced some special dishes for us as vegetatrians (with a mention of this fact when booking), and they were absolutely delightful!The welcome was friendly, the wine was good and English was spoken. All that we found that visit were the norm as our friends, who have eaten there before,told us.if you have never visited this part of France then you must:a) visit it right awayand b) go to this restaurant
Toute la famille a adoré le repas, la déco et aussi l accueil. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée ????
Een aanrader, vriendelijke uitbaters, lekker eten,betaalbaar, prachtig dakterras.Helaas op 18 oktober 2016 stoppen ze ermee.We hadden gereserveerd voor 28 oktober 2016 voor 6 personen om 60 verjaardag te vieren maar bij een volgend bezoek de week daarna bleek het einde in zicht, jammer.
