Second time to eat lunch here, and.... you know the saying. But it is a lovely location on the square and with young children it's perfect with the fountains running in the summer. But the kid's menu at 9 euro for a store-bought, ready-made burger that tastes quite revolting and two scoops of cheap ice-cream it's not exactly value. Adult burgers and salads are better but decidedly average. View all feedback.

We enjoyed the setting, being what felt like 'in the square ' with fountains, a prominent 'coq ' sculpture and attractively lit building opposite. The meal was a little disappointing, however, as my husband 's steak was fatty and on the rare side, I ordered Coq au Vin and spent half the time trying to work out what meat it actually was. I concluded I had been given the wrong meal. A very small bread offering appeared, almost as an afterthought. We had just arrived that evening and were too tired to say anything, as we don 't tend to complain. For the same price, and cheaper, we have since had much nicer meals in Chagny.
