Agriturismo Assiuolo

This is one of our favorite restaurants in our neighbourhood. We took a lot of guests with us to Assiuolo and we call it our secret restaurant because it is quite hidden in the little hills of Piemonte. The food is always great and the attention of mother, together with husband and two sons, preparing their food is fantastic. They serve you a salad and the ingredients were picked just 30 minutes ago in their own garden. Son Antonio is in charge of their wine yard and of course we always drink his great 'Merum ' together with mama 's dishes.

We spent our last dinner at agriturismo Assiuolo. Made with a lof of skill and love by our host and gently served by a really nice woman. We were there alone with our company of 6, and we didn't quite know what to expect. No menu, no explanation at the start, no idea about price... VERY AUTHENTIC : We enjoyed 4 ! antipasti, 2 ! primi, a secondo, a dolce and coffee. Dinner was accompanied with the great Merum wine by brother Antonio Bellicoso. It was incredibly good, even our daughters two teenagers were really enthousiastic. And the bill was.... incredibly fair! What a pity we saved this until the last night. We would have gone back without doubt for a second time. And yes, we did buy some extra bottles of the great Merum! Thank you for this wonderful experience and the hospitality!

The most beautiful family. the wee is great!

What a fantastic place, and what a treat by il cuoco. One course after the other, food kept coming in. Local food, but sometimes with an innovative touch. Very gentle service. 4 antipasti, 2 primi, 1 secondo, 1 dolce, caffè and the great Merum wine grown by brother Antonio. It was delicious and we strongly recommend! Call ahead if you want to enjoy this experience too.
