Aldo's At Cordella Winery - Montalcino

My husband and I visited Aldo's during a trip to Tuscany for our anniversary. What a special, lovely evening we had thanks to Chef Aldo's wonderful meal and the consummate hospitality of his wife, Magdelena! When we arrived, we were met and taken for a short tour of the headquarters to see how the wine is stored and bottled. We then were taken to a private dining room where our meal was served by the chef himself. This dinner truly was a highlight of our trip. Be aware when coming here, you are visiting a vineyard after all so just know it is off the main road a bit and up a private drive. However, with Google Maps you should be fine.

Aldo was a great host and went out of his way to make my wife and I at home with our 6 month old. Wonderful food and wine make this a must try!

We stopped at Cordella as part of our wine tour with Franco Fadda and had the most amazing meal, prepared by Aldo. Wonderful, authentic meal with several courses paired with excellent wine. Aldo was a gracious host and is a skilled chef. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
