Ristorante Il Pinnacolo

My boyfriend and I got a Groupon for this place and decided to go in April for a Sunday evening. The drive up the road was interesting, due to the terrible road condition and lack of signs, but it was a good adventure! We had a four course meal, both enjoyed our appetizers and got filet mignon for the main. Unfortunately, both of our lovely meat were rare and left my plate full of blood. The waiter noticed my unpleased look early on and offered to have it refired up, which I took immediately. My boyfriend chose to keep his since it was more on the medium rare side and he didn't mind it. When I got my plate back, my pieces were way more cooked than a medium steak and had no tenderness left in it. It just left like they had their backup chef working on the Sunday evening during the off season. The service was good and so was the desert and our drinks!

Groupon had a great diner for four deal , and that's how we ended up there . The food and the service was amazing, will dine there next time we visit Mt. Tremblant

Interesting location with nice view during the day (just darkness at night). It is quite a ride from Mont Tremblant village: not by distance, but by time due to road quality. The restaurant is elegant without being imposing (neither it is refined) We had a reservation at 7:30. The sole waitress told us that she won't be able to even take our orders for 20 minutes. More than half hour later my wife fetched a pitcher of water from the kitchen for the dehydrated family. Things did not speed up from there. Food was good but not great. Wine was ok. Prices a bit higher than the experience mandates. Our waitress worked unquestionably hard. She also apologized and our sole dessert order was on the house. Still, the dinner took considerably more than 2 hours. That may have been more welcome couple of decades ago (though -- call me a brute of you must -- even romantic dinners should not outlast their welcome and cut into the night), but not with tired kids: we chose this place because of the reservation so that we can stay on schedule. And speaking of the reservation: our on-line booking was not logged and I got an email stating they missed us showing up. Well, let's take that as a compliment: apparently even hours of our company was simply "not enough."

Ate dinner here with a group of 6. Service was OK. Good menu choices. We all thought the prices were expensive for what the food was.

We were staying at the resort and arrived that day and thought we would have dinner at Il Pinnacolo. What a lovely spot. The service was excellent and food delicious. On the table was a cute little sign for my birthday. What a nice touch. Unfortunately it was dark by the time we went for dinner so we really couldn't see much in terms of a view. I am sure it is a lovely view during the day. But it was a great place and we enjoyed the food and the server was very friendly.
