The atmosphere is charming & cozy. The staff was super friendly & food was so delicious! Very authentic!! We were there for lunch but will definitely be back in summer for dinner where we heard the margaritas are fabulous!! It was also very fair priced. View all feedback.
What Shawn K doesn't like about Restaurant Tacos Lolita:
The portions were very small for the price. The dishes were incomplete. We ordered the 8 beef taco special and there was not enough meat for the 8 tacos. It was just stewed beef, pickled onions and a small cup of guacamole. A side of slaw or something for the tacos would have made it a lot more of a complete dish. You know, like how street tacos would be assembled or pretty much tacos anywhere. I was excited to go he... View all feedback.
Went in with high expectations but unfortunately the portions were small, the food no more than average and the prices were high. They don't even put down some salsa and chips to nibble on. Won't see me there again.
If I could give 6 stars I would. Shrimp tacos are the best ever. Nachos incredible. My go to restaurant it never disappoints.
It's unfortunate when something like this happens. My wife and I were in St. Jovite on Saturday Nov 27th 2021. We were looking to support one of the restaurants in the area as we know this has been such a hard time for all of them. We walked into Bar Resto Lolita and noticed it was empty except for the waitress and most likely the manager and someone else. We waited a few minutes at the door and were screened and taken to our seats. Then the wait began, at this point we were totally ignored by everyone. We waited at least 10 minutes in an empty restaurant for some service. I looked around and noticed the person who seated us sitting at a back table carrying on a conversation with a person back there. The waitress was talking and laughing with someone at the front and not even bothering to look our way. My wife and I talked for a while and then it got ridiculous ... here we were the only customers in the restaurant and no one was taking any time to serve us. We both got up and started to put on our coats, this is when the waitress came over to ask if we were leaving. We told her yes, we had sat there for almost 15 minutes and no one bothered to ask if we wanted drinks or anything ... so we left. I realize this pandemic has been hard on restaurants but with service like this it's not hard to tell why some have gone under. The manager or whoever it was that took us to our table didn't even bother to get up to see what the issue was. We have eaten at this restaurant in the past, but I can guarantee they will not see us again. Horrible service and a major disappointment. We did end up going into the old village of Mt. Tremblant and had a great experience at Pub Au Coin, the service was excellent and the place was full of patrons. Not hard to see why one was empty and the other was full.
Family owned with friendly and kind staff. Food is delicious and their drinks are amazing. Try the Mojito or Margarita. Love the live music! A nice change from the tourist village of Mt. Tremblant.
Good quality and tasty food. Although portions were smaller than what you may normally see, it was a healthy size to fill us up and left room for dessert. Staff was polite and prompt. Dinner for two: margarita $11, draft beer, 20 oz $10, beef burrito $15, shrimp tacos $17(? , and churro with ice cream $9. I'd go back!
