I finally had a late lunch with my friends, and it was a great experience. The restaurant was quite peaceful, and our food arrived quickly! I tried the bánh mì sandwich, which was just okay. The French bread was a bit drier than I prefer, and I would have liked more meat in the sandwich. My friends ordered the vermicelli salad, an appetizer plate, and some extra spring rolls, and all of those were delicious! I think... View all feedback.

I ordered lunch over the phone, and the girl who took my order seemed to misunderstand what I had read from the menu. When I arrived at the restaurant, she told me it would be ready in 5 minutes. I checked my order to confirm it was correct. However, I had to go over it with her again, and then I was told I'd have to wait 10 more minutes. This is frustrating, especially since I only have 30 minutes for lunch. It's qu... View all feedback.

The service is always timely, friendly, and welcoming. The location is just a short distance from the main area of Old Town Monrovia, making it ideal for people-watching, particularly during the Friday night farmer's market. The decor is definitely a bit dated, but I find it charming, especially the wall art! Overall, it's a cozy place to eat—definitely not pretentious at all! I would say the pho is pretty average. While the portions and shrimp are plentiful, the broth is a bit bland compared to other places. That's why I gave it four stars. It feels like something is missing; the flavor could use a bit more depth. However, to be fair, I've only tried the shrimp pho here, and from what I hear, their other dishes are very good! Parking is available on the street, or you can use public parking in Old Town, which has never been a problem for us. A pro tip: take some time to explore Old Town Monrovia after your meal!

I have the superbowl (n1.) the broth was satisfying, and the meat was very well seasoned and cooked. the massive short rib bone was delicious and even fun to eat. for me the nudes were a bit too soft, but I will come back to be safe. edit: I came later and still too soft
Ok food, terrible experience. The first time I went, I chalked it up to a bad night. A misunderstanding led to us overpaying for food we didn't order. That's fine. We were hungry and were able to take home leftovers. A $40 meal turned into $75. That sucks but I guess it's on us... since they refused to take the extra food back. The second time, well I don't know... came in 40 minutes before close and we were turned away. Apparently their hours are not what they have posted. So make sure you get there 90 minutes in advance so you'll have plenty of time to order your bowl of soup. I guess they need to prep the sprouts or carefully cut the limes. No big deal...plenty of other options in the area.P.S. clean your walls they are covered in grease and splatter.
