Shogun Japanese Steak House

We had a party of six. I had the steak hibachi which was excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The chef did a good job of preparing the food and entertaining us.

Spent quite a while in the military and traveled extensively. I’ve been to many Shogun restaurant across the country. The Shogun in Monroeville is hands-down my favorite. The chefs are great, Never had one that wasn’t expert. The wait staff is great (Annie is awesome!

Just came here for the first time with my boyfriend for an early Valentine’s Day dinner! He had been here years earlier with a group of friends but I myself had never experienced hibachi style dining and OH MY GOD!please whatever you do do not believe the bad reviews. The staff is so nice and welcoming and the chefs are VERY talented. While the outside doesn’t look like much the inside is BEAUTIFUL. the ginger dressing on the salad was so good! I like it better than tapei Tokyos dressing. My steak was delicious and my boyfriend loved his teriyaki chicken.the yum yum sauce is fantastic.while it is pricey it’s worth it for the quality and quantity of food you get.please if you haven’t already GO TO SHOGUN YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTEDPS: to all the people complaining they’re turned away an hour before closing look on the google info section it says it’s suggested you make a reservationWe had a reservation for 530pm and we’re seated 5 minutes later with 2 other couplesThey do charge an 18% gratuity charge but it is well deserved! From what I saw the restaurant is very clean as well and the dim lighting in my opinion actually enhances the mood

Was not here long. they do not open until 16 o'clock. had a chicken hibachi and my man had steak and garnel. what I absolutely did not like is the way the cook mixes all her food on the dish. starts with rice in the middle. the chicken was distributed in several portions on the plate and the sweet was decorated up to fall like a volcano everywhere. my teller didn't like that. when eating one has a fork with various means of life. they automatically add 18% to their bill for satisfaction. s21 but eating was delicious.

Cook was hilarious and food was not bad but the building is kinda gross. My feet stuck to the floor around our table and the bathroom was kind of a mess. Waitress was really nice too!
