Vazzy's Osteria - Monroe

Best Italian restaurant in all CT! The food is very delicious. The interior is beautiful. There is a bar and TVs to watch sports. There are outdoor seating. Without a doubt, this is a great restaurant to go!

The huge Arugula salad is enough for 3 people and is only loaded with walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese. The Granny Smith apple slices are crisp and tasty. The noon part of linguini and white mussels is also very large and loaded with baby clams surrounded by small clams. I just went to the Great Hollow Lake in Monroe and now I have to go back and try to work some of these delicious calories? Very recommended!!

A great time at Vazzy's as usual. The staff was wonderful and attentive, and even gave us a military discount which we deeply appreciated. Excited to come back for more pizza!

Honestly I wanted to cater from another place but it did not go through. So a family member suggested this place since it was in the area. I had a party for my son, he graduated from high school and he's going away for the Marines so it really meant alot to our family. I was not very happy with the catering. I ordered full trays of meatballs, chicken tenders, sausage and peppers, penne Ala Vodka , and Lasagna. I must say the chicken tenders and meatballs were really good. But everything else was ok. The Lasagna we didn't even eat for dinner because it was under cooked and we were so hungry we didn't want to wait to put it in the oven for another 20 minutes. I paid 80 dollars for a full tray of Lasagna that was not even cooked correctly. It upsets me because that's alot of money. I paid over 450 dollars for catering and everything should have been amazing. The food was average as was the service. I would not recommend this place for catering and I will never return.
