This restaurant was such a great find! Right off the interstate with the best view. We opted to wait for an outside table and it was definitely worth the wait. Of course you can expect great southern hospitality, fast and friendly service. The kids orderfried catfish which they gobbled down and my husband and I shared the seafood platter. My favorite part was the soup and theseafood pie. But everything was delicious so its hard to really pick a favorite. I also enjoyed the side salad-cesar. Thedressing was very fresh and tasted house made which is more uncommon for Cesar. If you are in the area please make time to stopby this jem!
We were tourists passing through and have found our home at Trapps. The river rainbow was a sure sign of it. The Cajun cuisine was perfect and if you happen to be there when the amazing Gracia is serving, you will NOT be disappointed. The live music wasdelightful while sitting on the deck.
Wonderful unassuming restaurant but with delicious dishes filled with rich cajun flavor! We stumbled on this gem of a restaurant as we drove through Louisiana last August. We had a table with an nice view of the river and had a wonderful cajun lunch. I lovecajun food and just had to stop here going through Louisiana. Highly recommend!
Eaten here twice, once at the bar and once on their riverfront patio, which was beautiful. We started with the fried crawfish tail appetizer, the had the steak dinner for 2 special. The steak was seasoned well, cooked to order, and served promptly. Good beers on tap as well. If you?re in the area definitely worth seeking out.
As visitors passing through, we found our new favorite place at Trapp's. The stunning rainbow over the river seemed like a sign we were meant to be there. The Cajun dishes were outstanding, and if you get the chance to be served by the amazing Gracia, you’re in for a treat. The live music enhanced the atmosphere, making our time on the deck genuinely enjoyable.

I had a tough time deciding which delicious dish to order from the fantastic menu, but I ultimately chose the Creole seafood cakes, the crusted fish, and the black catfish with fire-roasted corn and veggies. I was truly impressed by the bold flavors, and the service was flawless. Trapp's is a stunning and charming restaurant with breathtaking views of the Ouachita River. It's definitely worth a visit!
Fantastic Cajun cuisine! After visiting Duck Commander, make sure to stop by this place for an authentic meal. I tried a variety of dishes, and I can confidently say that Cajun food here is outstanding!
The waiting staff was friendly and we got our food in time. I had the filled chicken breast and it was excellent. They had live music and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
I like Trapp's, everyone there was in a good mood and having fun. The staff was great, great service and helpful. I ordered a beer and then the boiled shrimp dinner. My salad came first and was good. The meal of boiled shrimp was really good. I saw other dishes being served and it all looked good. They had a limited menu but had all the seafood dishes fried or grilled. It is located on the river and had a fish camp theme. Definitely worth try.
Wonderful place! We had spicy shrimp queso as an appetizer and it was delicious! I can't wait to come back during crawfish season. I recommend Trapp's to everyone! We will definitely be back!
