The buffet was very clean, featuring beautifully arranged food on elegant metal plates. It was well-stocked and well-equipped. However, the selection could use some improvement in American dishes. It would be nice to see items like Szechuan chicken or a simple chicken and broccoli in a brown sauce. A little pepper oil seasoning would also enhance the flavors, but it was lacking. What User doesn't like about Rice N Shine Buffet:
For $50, I found myself sweating in what I could only guess was an 80-degree temperature inside the restaurant. Some dishes, like the hibachi chicken, were so heavily salted that I couldn't enjoy them at all. I used to enjoy this place when it was a Chinese buffet, and I had hoped for a similar experience. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst culinary experience I've ever had. It was very disappointing, especiall... View all feedback.
Decent food. I get take out. I take a container and fill with what I want. It seems to be about $10-$12 a container depending on what u get. I wish they had their rice noodles more often. I love the hot and sour soup.
Friendly staff. Neat restaurant. Affordable! You pay first and then you find your own seat I like that very much, as I sit where I like. I like seafoods very much but Rice N Shine Buffet only serves shrimps. If they could add variety of seafoods, that would be great.
GREASY AND GROSS! First stop is cashier (pay before being seated) who says one thing What you like for drink ? FYI pop $3.50 (not included) don 't fall for the tantric. With the exception of pepper steak (slimy), EVERYTHING is Chicken (dark meat) and all taste alike. Desserts? Sure, scoop your own ice cream from a bucket, no toppings. NO THANKS! Never Again.
Amazing! Loved the shrimp. The food is pretty good. Small buffet but good. We went there as a family on vacation visiting family
We ordered lunch at this restaurant for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. We didn’t expect each order to come with a whopping 2.5 pounds of food! The General Tso's chicken had a lighter, sweeter sauce, which was different but absolutely delicious. When we opened the box for the sweet and sour chicken, we were surprised to find just 2.5 pounds of chicken—no rice in sight! It was fresh and not greasy at all. After our meal for two, we had plenty of leftovers to feed three more people, and we still had enough for lunch the next day. The flavors were spot on! Although we chose to take out, the restaurant itself looked very clean, and the food at the buffet appeared fresh. This was an excellent first impression, and we were quite surprised given the area.
