Longhorn Steakhouse - Monroe

What a tasty dinner! We celebrated my sister and mother's birthdays and everything went smoothly. The service was excellent!

I called ahead to reserve a table but still had to wait for 45 minutes at the designated time. Out of the four of us who ordered steaks, only one was cooked correctly. The service was lacking and quite disrespectful. I have been to many other Longhorn locations and never had any issues, but this one in Monroe was disappointing.

The group started with drinks, with two ordering water and the other two ordering sodas. The water arrived tasting and smelling like muddy water. When we asked for something else, we were given a sprit and coke. One member of our group cannot have soft drinks due to cancer, but we were still charged for them. The excuse given was that the restaurant loses money on communal water. When we questioned this, the waitress could not help and a rude manager told us we should have asked for bottled water, which we would have had to pay for. We were not offered bottled water. We dine at this restaurant regularly and were disappointed by the treatment we received.

A little pricey. Long wait time yet empty tables. Probably short staffed. Manager never made rounds to greet and meet customers.

Ordered loaded potatoe soup.. It was cold!! Server was good..but would expect better for a 65$ lunch
