This place has gone downhill since they sold it. They're taking way more orders than they can handle so when you go there in person and they lose your ticket, they'll blame you for how busy they are. Super unprofessional now. Oh and they will charge youthe card price surcharge when you pay with cash so look at your receipts.
This was my go-to spot for some time until the business exchanged hands. The service from the stone faced latinx woman who is never not upset about misunderstanding orders is unpleasant. My kiddo, just this past week, received pancakes made of someunknown substance. Suffice to say the meal was inedible and downright offensive. Forget my bacon, forget my gluten-free bagelfor my celiac, but feed my kiddo trash, and I am done. My Calabrese father in law has to scoop all the bagel innards out onaccount of how uncooked they are. You're pretty much dining on play-dough. The older woman who works back there cooking is cool.Shout to her positive outlook in a real emotionally toxic environment. Time find a new spot. I lived in N.Jersey most of mylife, and the Monmouth county bagel shops are hot trash... by the way gluten free bagels shouldn't swell my guts, so when Iinquired if they were also soy free and they said yes, I should've questioned it. That's on me.
It would be helpful if the person on the phone spoke English, just saying. We just received our order, and Ahmed had the audacity to ask my roommate what my problem was! I had politely requested several times—about eight—that the pork roll on the sandwich not be well done. Ahmed then asked if I meant well done. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager, only to find out that he was the manager himself. I had to explain again to please avoid burning the pork roll since they always get it wrong. Guess what? The pork roll was still well done and tough! I tried to call Ahmed to discuss this, but only got his voicemail. We’ve had enough of this place. He clearly doesn’t understand what a 'light' bagel means either. And the veggie cream cheese, which I used to love, now has no flavor at all.
The manager shouted at my fiancé for calling to express our complaints. It was appalling, and I will be reaching out again.
