Although I recently moved about thirty minutes away,... read more It pains me to write this review, but my recent visit to my favorite sandwich shop was quite disappointing. Although I recently moved about thirty minutes away, I made the trip today to treat myself to my beloved sandwich, only to find the shopfront nearly empty. There was just one cooler with a few drinks, a mere eight bags of chips on the shelf, and the chairs were stacked up as if they were preparing to close. To my surprise, there weren’t even any cold salads in the cooler. This was already concerning, but I was hopeful since I wasn’t there for the ambience; I was eager for that incredible sandwich. I placed my order for an Amazing Blazin’ Sub, only to be told they no longer have buffalo chicken. I opted for turkey instead and listed my desired toppings, but then I learned that they don’t make the sauce for that sandwich anymore either. The one thing I had come for was no longer available, and the lack of a proper menu made it difficult to find an alternative. The display cases were almost completely empty, so my options were extremely limited. Ultimately, I left the shop empty-handed and disappointed. When I inquired about whether they were closing down, the staff assured me that wasn’t the case, and I truly hope that’s true. This restaurant is a staple in the Monroe community, and it would be a shame to see it disappear.
