I highly recommend this establishment as this was my first visit and they won me over immediately.

Clean resteraunt. beautiful atmosphere. clean bathroom. the waitress was good, but the host seemed less interested than to customers. overall, eating was good.... read more Clean resteraunt. beautiful atmosphere. clean bathroom. the waitress was good, but the host seemed less interested than to customers. overall, eating was good. my wife and I split a 3 meat plate. not all meats on the menu were available. the ribs were great. the smoked meat dew was good (also better with the BBQ sauce). the pulled boar was not bad, but could use a little more taste. kartoffelsalat was on average, and in contrast to the title, the framed mais was not the best I ever had, but it was good. had to ask for drink fillings. a good restorer with a beautiful atmosphere.

Unfortunately, by the time I arrived, they... read more I rarely eat BBQ outside of Texas, and today I was reminded why. The standout dish of my meal was the mac and cheese. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived, they were already out of coleslaw and fries. The potato salad was overly dressed and the meats lacked that traditional smoky flavor. The brisket and meatloaf were both disappointingly dry. I expected fresher meats at noon. However, I did enjoy the spicy pretzels served as an appetizer and the tea was good. The staff was friendly and made us feel at home, which is why they are receiving a 3-star review. I didn't try any of the brews since I was driving, but that may have made the experience more memorable.
