As he was paying birthday trea... read more A friend invited me, he had been telling me for some months what a great place Xiri was for Spanish food with an up market twist. As he was paying birthday treat I'm not sure exactly what menu we had. There are 2 during the week both offer interesting eating experiences. The food we had was beautifully served, the service impeccable and I will certainly be taking my o'seas visitors to experience Xiri. Highly recommended and somewhat different menu to that of the traditional Sepia A la Plancha, Embutidos y Queso etc.

It was a hot day but the restaurant was cool and beautifully presented. We all had the weekend menu with various choices for mains. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. As other reviewers have written, traditional Spanish food but with a (very tasty) twist. When it came to postre we could not decide and so ordered one of each of the five on offer so we could try them all. Stunning. But there again after the starters and mains, we should not have been surprised! The chef/s have certainly perfected the art of combining excellent ingredients and tastes to make us want to go back for more. The house wine was excellent, but not cheap. That would certainly not stop us from returning though!

Everything was spectacular from the first moment, from the first dish on the table, each one more captivating. And if I have to talk about the service, I will say that the treatment was very cordial, and very professional. Thank you very much Carmen, and your entire team, for making us spend such a pleasant New Year's Afternoon. Service: Dine in
