The pizza at this restaurant can be made vegan, but the true standout is their vegan chocolate cake. It comes drizzled with two vegan syrups and is sweet enough to send you to the moon. Who said vegan food had to be healthy? Definitely try this cake at least once - it's amazing. Although there isn't a Salvatore's location nearby, we make the trek occasionally for their delicious Vegan Supreme pizza. It is a bit pricey at $30 for one pizza, but we believe it is worth the cost. Do note that this particular location only offers carry-out or delivery service, unlike other locations that have indoor seating. View all feedback.
I went to this restaurant last night for takeout. I ordered my pizza to be lightly baked. When I arrived, they informed me that they had to recook the pizza, but they gave me a free drink for the inconvenience. The customer service was excellent! I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the pizza seemed a bit overcooked for my preference of a lightly baked pizza. However, I will definitely give it another chance in the future because the pizza was delicious and the service was great. I will update my review after my next visit!
I have always been a fan of Salvatore's, but after a terrible experience at the Monona location, I will not be returning. I have enjoyed the food at other Salvatore's locations in the area, but the service at this particular one was extremely disappointing. I placed an order for 4 pizzas to be picked up at 5:45 pm, but was called at 5 pm and informed that they had made my pizzas too early. They offered to give them to me early, but I declined as I wanted to serve my friends fresh pizza at 6 pm. I requested that they remake the pizzas for the original pick-up time and they agreed. However, when I arrived at 5:45 pm to pick up my order, I discovered that the pizzas were lukewarm and stale. It was clear that they had simply reheated the pizzas they had made earlier and misled me. I spent $75 plus a tip on subpar food and felt deceived by the staff. While I still love Salvatore's, I will not be returning to the Monona location.
Amazingly fresh toppings and exploding with flavor pizza. Calamari, garlic bread sticks and salad were top notch. Brandy old fashion and spiked slushies topped off our out door dining experience. Highly recommended for carry out or outdoor dining
My wife and I ordered from Salvatore's on June 30th loved it. The Phoning it in specialty pizza was amazing. One of better pies I had in a long time. Think of Roman Candle self titled Pizza but with better ingredients.
The pizzas were very good. The service was very attentive. The only negative was an inordinately long wait that day. Everything else was great.
