Raglan Fryer - Monmouthshire

We were in catld as part of the event. we approached raglan fryer with a huge order for all reenactors, not even phase them! highly recommended

Probably the worst fish and chips I have had the misfortune to pay £7 for.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing (8.30). A very polite young lady took my order with a not so polite elderly woman chiming in with brash comments in the background throughout.The elderly woman then turned around to walk towards the rear of the shop and stated I will have to turn the chip fryer back on now for F$*k sake She made it abundantly clear that this was an inconvenience and did not want my custom.I explained to the young lady (who was clearly embarrassed and really did not deserve to witness the old woman's disgraceful attitude that I didn't visit to receive such rude behaviour and to let the clearly disgruntled woman know not to inconvenience herself.If the old woman is not the owner she needs dealing with. If she is, she may want to consider that a business without customers doesn't do too well.

Very friendly place, a classic fish and chips. Lovely chicken burger and fish cake too!
