Always go here the breakfasts are amazing they are HUGE. I normally get defeated by the large legand but not without a fight. One thing I think could be improved is the coffee it’s very weak I think the machine needs to be replaced. Other than that, fab! View all feedback.
What Dai3791 doesn't like about Legands Cafe:
I recently visited for breakfast, had a large legend breakfast, however I asked for the bacon to be well cooked as I hate fatty bacon, what do I get.. Fatty salty bacon.. Yukk, eggs were greasy, a whole tin of baked beans, way too much, the sausages were not very nice, the only things nice were the mushrooms and the black pudding, therefore I wasn't impressed and I will not be visiting again 2.5 out of 10 and I'm bei... My husband and I were in Abergavenny and wanted to try a local place for lunch instead of the usual options. We stumbled upon Legends on Market Street and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the large portions of well-cooked, delicious food. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelette with chips and salad, while my wife had a burger. Both dishes were fantastic and we left feeling very satisfied. The staff were polite and followed all COVID safety protocols. We would definitely recommend Legends to anyone visiting or living in Abergavenny for a filling and tasty meal.
A cozy and welcoming Café located in the center of town, with friendly staff and a clean atmosphere. Our breakfast of tasty sausages was cooked perfectly to order. Another family member ordered the cheese omelette and was pleased with their choice. We will definitely be returning to eat there again.
During the lockdown period, I have enjoyed several breakfasts from this restaurant. This time, I tried their share box for the first time with my sons, aged 10 and 8. It was a great suggestion from the lady I spoke to when placing my order. The breakfast arrived promptly, 20 minutes after ordering, with free delivery to Aber. The share box came in a large pizza style box with eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausages, and toast, while mushrooms, tomatoes, and beans were in separate containers. Everything was well wrapped and we also ordered extra toast. The food was nicely cooked and there was very little waste. It was a lovely experience to have everyone help themselves to the food on the table. Overall, it was a delightful treat during the Easter holidays.

Seeking a hearty breakfast in Abergavenny whilst traveling to Brecon for another day as a cricket umpire, trip advisor suggested Legends Cafe. Plenty of parking nearby and a charming cosy but small cafe . The breakfast of Poached eggs on Toast with bacon and coffee was of a high standard not expected and served with a smile . Having asked for a couple of eggs I was really pleased to find three small ones rather than the usual two tiny ones. The bacon was not the usual wafer thin mass produced variety but very tasty and what many would see as local butcher produced and of a good depth and well trimmed. The coffee was not bitter but really enjoyable. I suspect that this must be seen as a little Gem and a great find. I was encouraged by the level of take away food being collected by locals they clearly know the quality and value of Legends Cafe.
