This restaurant is a hidden gem in a stunning location, where we enjoyed a fantastic lunch today. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious, all made with fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers. I highly recommend trying the Alpine street food Bratkartoffeln, pan-fried potatoes with bacon lardons, onions, and fried eggs as a shared starter. Our main dishes, including my mout... What Valleys T doesn't like about At The Greyhound Inn:
Shocking attitude off staff and owner..! Told to drink bottles a not allowed to drink pints from the bar as the place is too busy to serve from the bar!!! Served cold scabby hotdog out side in freezing conditions -5 !! Used to be such a beautiful happy pub but since take over by new owners it’s gone to the dogs!! Won’t eat or drink here again or recommend the place to anyone after 20 years of coming to the pub!!! So... View all feedback.
Fabulous place. THE STAFF ARE AMAZING. Sunday Lunch was nice beef a little tough but apart from that everything else starters etc were lovely. The BEST place for customer service friendly and go out of their way to make your visit wonderful.. well done thank you for your wonderful service and lovely food ,
We had our first overnight stay here at the Greyhound Inn and really enjoyed it. The hotel is dog friendly with lots of lovely touches like dog bowls, blankets and treats available in the rooms. There is also a dog walking paddock if you want your dog to have a run around. Our evening meal was really nice, well cooked, lots of it and very tasty. Breakfast was also excellent, the best full English we have had in a while. Everyone we came across was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean, well furnished and the bed comfortable. What more could you ask for? This was our first visit and hopefully it won’t be our last.
We decided to try Sunday Lunch at The Greyhound with friends for a welcome change and we were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was very nice. My only negative was the dessert i had Apricot and brandy bread pudding) did not have any brandy in it. Its a lovely pub to visit and the food is always nice.
