Osteria Mamazita - MONIGA DEL GARDA

My man and I went last Saturday with two friends from us to osteria mamazita. we got a nice table in the free in the piazza. service was very friendly, attentive and professional. when we sat down, we got a snack on the house (.fresh bruschetta on her homemade brot) and during the coffee we were offered homemade cookies. Although the menu could be somewhat limited in comparison to other nearby restaurants, each plate that arrived was exquisite: well plated, well cooked and really delicious (we had the grilled fish of the day and the tagliata.) overall it was a very pleasant evening in the city in moniga and we will definitely try again the pizza!

Eating, the atmosphere and the staff were great, except the time when the bill came. when we first came, some snacks — grissini, were put on a table. we thought it was a nice gesture, but they accused us euro for. these four tiny packages of snacks euro everyone, but one of them we didn't eat at all!, they didn't tell us it was all.) there were only some of them and they were thin. our stay began promising, but the end was enormously disappointing. we felt saddened and the whole experience was so destroyed by this — called theft.

When we came to the restaurant, it seems to be a quiet place. as we were there over people, are many native. beautiful wein, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, good pizza, inexpensive.

We had seen Mama Zitta’s as we wandered around in our trip to Moniga del Garda and it looked small. So we opted to go to neighbouring restaurants which were a bit busier and showier. However on our last night we decided to try Mama...Zittas and kicked ourselves that we hadn’t been before. The food was DELICIOUS, the service friendly and the price comparable with the neighbouring restaurants. The pizzas were thin and tasty, cheese tortellini the best i’ve ever eaten and the homemade Tiramisu better than any we have had before. We all raved about it and want everyone who ever goes to Moniga Del Garda to try Mama Zitta’s you won’t be disappointed!
