What User doesn't like about Manuel Bistro:
We eat in this restaurant which is a modern and pleasant place, with a lot of distance between tables, the entrances were very zamburiñas and lobsters in the Chinese bread, the cobbles also very good, but the rice of the scalp was not tasted and seemed boiled. View all feedback.

We do not start with the fact waiter whether there is a wee from the list or not. appetizers arrived, nothing really seemed. understandable burrata with cherry tomato, but still the two were there, a cooking initiative that did not work. but the best was still...to come. better said to wait. after 1h waited for the main dish, medium ordered sirloin came raw bleeding and burned by one of the sides, we complained and a second sirloin came with the same characteristics, but 25 minutes later. Cause why we didn't return it. we just wanted to end the dinner and leave the place to not return. the other main dish, fish, had the same characteristics. it was getting rough. we commented on the problem to the personal several times, but we just got apologies, but no one did. complete bill was really badly cooked despite the food and we complained several times because of the kitchen design and the waiting period. michelin guide had a bad day when she recommended the place in restaurant list 2020. quite expensive for the regrettable eating.
(critica en espanol mas abajo) a hidden gem found! monforte de lemos is a crucifixion town in galicien. the railways and main roads that drive to the northern western cities, as well as leave galic in the rest of Spain, cross monforte. it was in. this city that I found a jewel of a restaurant called manuels bistro. truly a best secret chef who has decided to stay in his hometown and offer the local high-quality cuisine that would otherwise only be found in the capitals of Spain. the restaurant is located in a rather inconceivable but beautifully maintained place in the “Duquesa de Alba” street. there are plenty of parking and go in a comes in a top restaurant style decor but cozy feeling inside. the personal was friendly and they can immediately say that they are experienced. the service was immediately. I started to garnel on the stick with her subtitle sauce. they were delicious, I could say all the ingredients in the sauce! that tells me that I had to do with a cook that follows the new trend away from traditional aromen and presentation and that every time offers a unique and special experience to the customer. my first leading role was cable fillet, which is really a great court. the fish was tender and fluffy and the taste was wonderful. not too buttery or spicy, exactly right. again the taste surpassed my expectations for very healthy cod filling. my second head was black medals. they were buttery soft, with mild combination of salty and sweet. very tasty. I shared two desserts, some delicious creamy canoe/cream and cheesecake. again, nothing boring here, I was currently surprised by the aromen. I can't help comparing the teaching of el bulli when I stop at a bistro. cooking has become more than a meal. harmonie, creativity, happiness, beauty, magic, provocation and culture. all products have the same gastronomic value, regardless of their price. preferred were vegetables and seafood with economical large cuts of red meat. the harmonie of products and aromas with regional cooking and modern aromas, although new combinations. my experience in the bistro of manuel fits all these principles, including the uniqueness of local culture, which makes travel to new places worth it.
