My wife, two friends and I stopped here for a drink while walking through Caminha on the Camino Portugues. Just a couple of quick beers but the waiter was a joker and kept us amused and there was a chap playing a violin wonderfully in the centre of the square behind us. It was so good we had to go tip him, even though he wasn't playing to our cafe! View all feedback.
What JMcFish doesn't like about Cafe Central:
Asked for Port. (I am half Portuguese and my family have had a house in the area for 50 years. I know what Port is! I got given something like Ribena. I understand (but don’t relish cheap Port; but to provide something that isn’t even the real thing?!! I don’t like cheats/liars. Go elsewhere. View all feedback.
Café central is, as the name suggests, centrally located, next to the clock tower. Plenty of outside seating friendly waiter was prompt and the snacks and drinks were reasonably priced.
The coffee is lovely, the cakes are so tasty, it’s our favourite coffee haunt in Caminha. Just great for watching the world go by!!!
This is my absolute favorite cafe in Caminha for the past 25 years. Infact it is a family favorite. The wonderful thing is seeing the same staff all these years. Situated in Caminha Centre you cannot go wrong here.
I choose this cofee to take a drink, based in Tipadvisor reviews. I sat down in the ezterior. The service was slow and not friendly.
