We understand Covid has caused some... read more Had been coming to Wallers for 10 yrs. new ownership under the name of Drifters and they are ruining the great Wallers name. We understand Covid has caused some difficulties with seating people but seriously? We call ahead, you tell us 30-45 min and at 1.5 hrs later still haven 't been sat??? We had elderly parents with us and ended up leaving. Tried again for Sunday shrimp. Sat again for an additional 45 min with our group. Finally sat and our server is the SLOWEST server we have ever had. She finally served the shrimp and water/ice tea then disappeared. Co workers or friends of the servers were sitting outside and the staff are hanging out with them. We were done with our shrimp and our drinks we had to find other staff and aak them to get our server who was outside socializing with friends. The service is so poor. The owner outside just keeps making jokes, You guys are so close to being seated Masks???? What a joke. They don 't care. It 's a shame.

NEW Owners and Renamed Drifters. I Hope the New Owners Start Ordering more Food. Waited 1 hour 20 minutes to get a table on a Sunday Evening at 5:45. Once Seated we tried to Order appetizers. OUT of Shrimp, Tuna, Buffalo Wings and French Fries do to their Frier, so the only Appetizers was Nachos so we order Drinks and a order of Nachos. Drinks came but no Nachos. We had finished our drinks within 30 mins and waitress told us the Nachos would be out soon. By this time it was 7:50 so we told them to forget it, paid for the drinks and headed the Jake's down the road where they had Wings, Tuna and lots of Shrimp!

Strange place with no real kitchen. Grill outside. Food is usually good. Wings are great. Wait staff is adequate, and friendly. Seating is uncomfortable. Noise level is loud, so don't go for a relaxing get away. You may arrive by watercraft, but docking is limited. Outside seating available. It is a popular place during the season so expect a wait. Entertainment provided on weekends. Over all it is worth a stop. *On the other hand the surrounding Marina is a DUMP. Broken down slips. Dangerous under water obstructions. Watch that hull! Poor safety features, watch your feet! Dirty, spillage all over. This guy Dumping? idk...(perhaps someone should look into that part) Overpriced Gas I do know a person who did complain to the Marina property owner, unfortunately, he turns out to be a Jerk. So in summation: Wallers-Yes Marina-No
