it was a really nice discovery in the city! the environment does not have many restaurants that are open at night, which makes the living of the tourist a bit difficult when they try to eat somewhere. fortunately we have found this restaurant, with really nice options on the menu, a really great service and fair prices! Travelling from Mombarcaro, we visited for lunch. There are very few restaurants in the area open for lunch (especially early in the week) and Monesiglio is literally ‘down’ the mountain. A lot of classic Italian primi and secondi dishes, we tried the antipasto, penne arrabbiata and pomodoro, as well as some veal schnitzel (cotoletta). The food reminded me of the home made food I ate that my Italian friend’s mum made for me when I was a boy in the 80s … simple, uncomplicated and very traditional. A simple meal experience that was enjoyed by the family … and important to update TripAdvisor after several years of disruption!
