Went here for food when having an overnight stop on the way to Carnac from Dover Food was OK. Though we didn't get the complementary bread rolls and salad. The main meals came quite quick and all cooked ok. My steak kebab on the mixed grill was a bit rubbery but edible. All other 7 family members loved there food. Prices ok. Waitress was very helpful with the menu and all orders came back correct. View all feedback.
What Corinne Rocher doesn't like about Buffalo Grill Mondeville:
the operation was very friendly and fast. the food came very fast, as not so many guests were present. the position looks very straight. unrecognizable for an American restaurant. the meat was very fibrous and the sauces tasted as if they came out of the super market (ready sauces). I've eaten a lot better for this money. they probably pay the names. View all feedback.
After two weeks holidays in France we headed back to the port and stopped as usual at Buffalo. The restaurant was very very busy and after having our French COVID app scanned, showing proof of our double vaccinations, were given a table for two in...what felt like the middle of a kindergarten, with children running around, shrieking and shouting. At every point during our holiday we were extremely impressed with COVID awareness, mask wearing and the way regulations were followed. Here? Well, it was like another world. Barely any staff wore masks, including the bar staff and chefs. Customers were wandering around at very close proximity with no masks on and certainly not being asked to wear them. Customers were stood at the till/bar area, breathing mask-less over other customer’s waiting drinks. It was shocking and we ate as quickly as possible (the food was great, if not a bit lukewarm) so we could get out of what we felt was a very unsafe environment. We had visited a Buffalo the week before in Laval. The regulations there were being followed by the letter and we felt very safe. Nasty final meal before heading home.
Visited with a group of friends . quickly missed as the place was almost empty. decent menu. that was not so good. I ordered tortillas like a friend. they were overtaken to the point of being almost burned. other, the bark of. a description or other ordered, seemed satisfied, but not overly happy. would be chosen in future somewhere different for this type of meal.

Never been to one of these establishments but hey what an experience. Food was really good value and great quality. Turned up around of an evening and the place was busy, shown to our table and the experience had begun. The waitress couldn’t have...been any nicer, food was quickly served and the service superb. Explained we could nt stay for desert and the waitress kindly put the kids desert in a container for later. Amazing experience and was the icing on the cake for a fab holibobs. Shame they don’t set up in the uk , would blow Harvester and Beefeater out of the water.
This is normally our last evening in France before catching the ferry home. We generally push the boat out and have whatever we fancy, starting with cocktails. You are immediately given a salad and bread rolls, which you can munch through whilst deciding what you...would like to eat. They have starters, but a limited number, we don't bother, we treat the salad and bread as a starter which we have with an aperitif. If you like meat, the steaks are great or ribs, chicken etc. For fish eaters the salmon is delicious, though today I had steak. You choose the vegetables you would like, we have chips. The dessert menu is great, though I love profiteroles, two is plenty, three if you have a good appetite or like to share. We finish with coffee, my husband has café sheriff (coffee with a choice of spirit, he like calvados) This can work out expensive, but it doesn’t need to be. They also have an excellent children’s menu.
