Jean's Restaurant - Moncton

Where to start......There are no trained chefs in that kitchen, there can 't be given how terrible the food is. The waitress even admitted to me everything is frozen. Nothing is fresh, you want to pay $25 for a frozen heated up meal then go for it but that 's insane.I had the Legend Burger , thinking with a name like that it would be good but omg it was terrible. There was absolutely no seasoning, it was dry and was hard as a hockey puck. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said well they 're frozen so take about 15 min to cook. This is insane, you should not be charging people for frozen burgers.I had the sweet potato fries with the burger and they were soggy and greasy, the grease was dripping out of them.The atmosphere is outdated and the walls were dirty. We sat at a booth and the wall next to me was covered in filth, food splatter etc it was nasty.Overall I would not recommend going here as the food is terrible, the service was okay but the atmosphere is outdated and quite filthy.

I haven't been there for years, but wow I forgot how awesome the food is. I had the steak and eggs breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. You know how the toast, or the hash, it is a little dry, but these were delicious.Always friendy and fast service. Always a get place for a relaxing meal.

My wife and I were staying in Moncton for the night and discovered Jean's as we searched for a supper alternative. What a fabulous local spot! Extensive menu from all day breakfast to full dinner items. Our server as well as other staff were very attentive and our food was both delicious and perfect temperature. Pricing well within a family budget. We enjoyed ourselves.

I'm getting back to it for sure.The Egg Benedict was super tasty.It was a little crowded and noisy.Affordable prices.

We were late arriving from out of town but never felt rushed. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered typical diner type food which was delicious. They accommodated my daughter who is a very selective eater. Would not hesitate to go back when we’re in town!
