Hynes Restaurant - Moncton

We stopped here on a Saturday, and right away we could see that they were very busy. We had to wait in line for about 15 minutes before we were seated. We took that as a good sign. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and the prices were decent. The food was okay. Not bad but not amazing either. Portions seemed a little small. Again, not a bad spot, but I found the food was pretty much the same as countless other diners I've been to. I have heard they have excellent desserts. We didn't have time to try the desserts....maybe my reaction would be more favorable if we did.

This was a nice place to eat at. Food was good and atmosphere was also good. Simple and to the point.

The service level is normally very good. With the exception of one waitress, we never seem to have any complaints in that department.The value hovers right around the average mark. For twelve-ish dollars, you can have a nice size breakfast which would include a drink and a small tip.The food comes out fairly quickly. Even during busy times, it usually takes no longer than 15 minutes from order to service.Overall, if you are looking for a cheaper place to eat that still serves up a decent meal, Hynes is the place to go.

Had a great time at Hynes restaurant. Everything we ordered came quickly and was well enjoyed. The service was great and even better, the homemade pies and desserts were to die for! Only thing that wasn't great was the Eggs Benedict (would not recommend ordering), but all else was delicious.

Fast service with a great home town feel and friendly staff. Good food at reasonable prices. The chowder was very good and the lobster roll had big chunks of lobster. Good selection of very tasty desserts.
